Peningkatan Motivasi Belajar Siswa Dalam Pembelajaran IPA Dengan Model Problem Based Learning

Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan motivasi belajar IPA pada siswa kelas V SDN Sendangsoko dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran problem based learning. Metode penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan subyek penelitian siswa kelas V SDN Sendangsoko yang berjumlah 15 siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan model Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar angket motivasi belajar siswa dan lembar observasi guru. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis data kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran problem based learning dengan sintaks: 1) pendahuluan; 2) penyajian masalah; 3) tindak lanjut masalah; 4) persentasi; 5) kesimpulan dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. Hal tersebut terlihat dari hasil observasi pra tindakan yang menunjukan motivasi belajar siswa masih sangat rendah, selanjutnya diterapkan model pembelajaran problem based learning pada siklus I rata-rata skor mencapai 74,29% (kategori cukup). Setelah dilakukan perbaikan oleh guru yang meliputi membagi tugas untuk setiap anggota kelompok saat kegiatan berdiskusi agar semua anggota kelompok aktif menyampaikan pendapat, melengkapi LKPD dengan tabel pengamatan, dan menyampaikan pesan moral di tengah-tengah pembelajaran terkait dengan materi yang sedang dipelajari. Sehingga setelah dilakukan perbaikan, motivasi belajar siswa pada siklus II meningkat sebesar 11,49 menjadi 85,78% (kategori sangat baik)
