Bebe Sangkar Sebagai Upaya Peningkatan Minat Baca Siswa Kelas 2 Melalui Metode Membaca Berimbang di SD IT Budi Mulyo, Kulon Progo

Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan minat baca siswa melalui penggunaan media Bebe Sangkar untuk siswa kelas 2 SD IT Budi Mulyo Kulon Progo. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (Classroom Action Research) dengan model Kemmis dan McTaggart yang terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas 2 SD IT Budi Mulyo, Kulon Progo yang berjumlah 28 siswa. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan angket penilaian diri dan tes. Adapun teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis kualitatif dan analisis kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data yang telah dilakukan, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media Bebe Sangkar dapat meningkatkan minat baca siswa siswa melalui metode membaca berimbang. Selama menggunakan media Bebe Sangkar, siswa terlihat lebih antusias dan aktif dalam memprediksi isi ceirta, mencari makna isi cerita, dan menceritakan kembalu isi cerita. Terlihat pada siklus I minat baca siswa menunjukkan persentase 48,1%. Kemudian pada siklus II terjadi peningkatan minat baca siswa sebesar 33,7%, sehingga pada siklus II menjadi 81,8%. Selain itu juga dapat dilihat dari hasil rata-rata minat baca siswa pada kondisi awal sebesar 65,5 meningkat sebesar 6,5 hingga menjadi 72 di siklus I, dan pada siklus II meningkat sebesar 8,2 sehingga menjadi 80,2
