Peningkatan Keterampilan Membaca Melalui Teknik Scramble Pada Peserta Didik Kelas IIB SD Muhammadiyah Bayan

Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan membaca melalui
teknik scramble. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan
model Kemmis dan Mc Taggart. Subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas IIB SD
Muhammadiyah Bayan dengan jumlah 21 peserta didik. Objek penelitian yaitu
keterampilan membaca peserta didik dengan teknik scramble. Penelitian
dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret-April 2021. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui
observasi, catatan lapangan dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yaitu secara
deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa
keterampilan membaca peserta didik kelas II SD Muhammadiyah Bayan mengalami
peningkatan. Pada pra siklus, persentase rata-rata keterampilan membaca peserta
didik sebesar 43%. Pada siklus I, persentase rata-rata keterampilan membaca
peserta didik meningkat menjadi 63% dan jumlah peserta didik yang meraih
ketuntasan mencapai persentase sebesar 52% pada pertemuan 1 dan 62% pada
pertemuan 2. Pada siklus II, persentase rata-rata keterampilan membaca peserta
didik meningkat menjadi 82% dan jumlah peserta didik yang mencapai ketuntasan
sebesar 85% pada pertemuan 1 dan 90% pada pertemuan 2, serta telah memenuhi
kriteria keberhasilan penelitian.
