Peningkatan Keterampilan Berpikir Kritis Melalui Model PBL dalam Muatan IPA pada Siswa Kelas V

Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis
pada siswa kelas V SD Negeri Temon Kulon tahun pelajaran 2020/2021 dalam
muatan pembelajaran IPA. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan
kelas (PTK) mengacu model spiral dari Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart yang
meliputi tahap (1) perencanaan, (2) pelaksanaan dan pengamatan, dan (3)
refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan tes dan non tes.
Teknik pengumpulan non tes yang berupa observasi siswa dan peneliti serta
dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis data deskriptif
kuantitatif dan analisis data deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian
menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran PBL (Problem Based
Learning) dalam muatan pembelajaran IPA dapat meningkatkan
keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa kelas V SD Negeri Temon Kulon. Hasil tes
keterampilan berpikir kritis pada tahap pra siklus menunjukkan rata-rata
56,67 dengan ketuntasan 16,67% (2 siswa). Hasil tersebut meningkat pada
siklus I menjadi 65,63 dengan ketuntasan 50% (6 siswa). Rata-rata kelas pada
siklus II meningkatkan menjadi 81,88 dengan persentase ketuntasan
mencapai 83,33% (sudah mencapai kriteria minimal).
