Peningkatan Keterampilan Proses IPA Melalui Model Discovery Learning Kelas V SDN Bener Yogyakarta

Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan proses IPA
menggunakan model Discovery learning (Stimulation, Problem Statement, Data
Collecting, Data Processing, Verification dan Generalization) pada siswa kelas V
SD Negeri Bener Yogyakarta. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas
Kolaboratif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SD Negeri Bener
dengan jumlah 31 siswa yang terdiri dari 15 laki-laki dan 16 perempuan. Metode
pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi dan tes. Teknik analisis data
dilakukan secara deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan
bahwa keterampilan proses IPA menggunakan Discovery learning di kelas V SD
Negeri Bener mengalami peningkatan pratindakan sebesar 33,87%, Siklus I sebesar
68,77%, dan Siklus II sebesar 83,31%. Selain itu, hasil belajar siswa juga mengalami
peningkatan dari pratindakan sebesar 52, 29 menjadi 70,00 pada Siklus I dan 77,41
pada Siklus II. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa model
Discovery learning dapat meningkatkan keterampilan proses IPA pada siswa kelas
V SD Negeri Bener.
