Menciptakan Pakem Melalui Kooperatif Tipe Problem Based Learning (PBL) Dalam Meningkatkan Kompetensi Siswa Pada Materi Pokok Trigonometri

Abstract
Matematika merupakan pelajaran penting bagi siswa dimana siswa dituntut memiliki kemampuan strategik dalam proses pembelajaran. Oleh karenanya, upaya yang dilakukan dalam pembelajaran matematika adalah menerapkan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Problem Based Learning (PBL). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kompetensi siswa, untuk mengetahui aktivitas siswa terhadap pembelajaran, untuk mengetahui suasana yang PAKEM dengan menggunakan model Problem Based Learning (PBL). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus. Instrument yang digunakan adalah tes, lembarobservasi aktivitas guru dan siswa, serta lembar angket dan wawancara. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kompetensi siswa dan terciptanya suasana yang PAKEM. Subjek penelitian ini 30 siswa, pada siklus I, siswa yang tuntas belajar adalah 14 siswa dengan persentase ketuntasan klasikal 46,7% dan pada siklus II, siswa yang tuntas belajar adalah 26 orang dengan persentase ketuntasan klasikal 86,67%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning(PBL) dapat meningkatkan kompetensi siswa dan terciptanya suasana PAKEM pada materi pokok trigonometri.
