Upaya Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Matematika Materi Menentukan Perbandingan yang Ekuivalen Pada Siswa Kelas VII-2 SMPN 1 Kembang Tanjong Melalui Pendekatan Kooperatif Learning Tipe Think-Pair-Share (TPS)

Abstract
Pembelajaran matematika merupakan salah satu pembelajaran yang bersifat abstrak sehingga dituntut kemampuan yang besrsifat abstrak pula, oleh karena itu perlu kemampuan guru untuk dapat mengupayakan metode yang tepat sesuai dengan tingkat perkembangan mental siswa. sehingga memudahkan siswa untuk memahami konsep pelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika materi menentukan perbandingan yang ekuivalen pada siswa kelas VII-2 SMPN 1 Kembang Tanjong melalui pendekatan kooperatif learning tipe Think-Pair-Share (TPS). Jenis penelitian ini termasuk penelitian action research. Subyek penelitian ini sebanyak 24 siswa, mereka adalah siswa kelas VII-2 SMPN 1 Kembang Tanjong tahun ajaran 2019/2020. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes hasil belajar, lembar pengamatan aktvitas siswa, lembar pengamatan aktivitas guru dan siswa, lembar catatan lapangan, serta bukti dokumentasi. Hasil analisis data dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: melalui penelitian tindakan kelas pada kelas VII-2 SMPN 1 Kembang Tanjong sudah terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada pelajaran matematika, khususnya materi menentukan perbandingan yang ekuivalen. Sebelum dilakukan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan pendekatan kooperatif learning tipe Think-Pair-Share (TPS) rata-rata nilai siswa adalah 61,46 dengan tingkat ketuntasan hanya 37,50% atau hanya 9 siswa dari 24 siswa. Pada siklus I perolehan nilai rata-rata kelas meningkat menjadi 68,96 dengan ketuntasan mencapai 66,67% atau sebanyak 16 siswa. Sedangkan pada siklus II nilai rata-rata kels terus meningkat menjadi 79,38 dengan ketuntasan mencapai 95,83% atau 23 siswa dari 24 siswa. Sementara tingkat aktivitas siswa dan guru juga terus meningkat di setiap siklusnya. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan tindakan kelas pada siswa kelas VII-2 SMPN 1 Kembang Tanjong pelajaran matematika materi menentukan perbandingan yang ekuivalen dengan menggunakan pendekatan kooperatif learning tipe Think-Pair-Share (TPS).
