Upaya Meningkatkan Preatasi Belajar IPA Melalui Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) Berbantuan Media Gambar Kelas IV Sekolah Dasar

Abstract
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dalam meningkatkan prestasi belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD Gonilan 1 Kecamatan Kartasura Kabupaten Sukoharjo dan dilatar belakangi rendahnya prestasi belajar peserta didik yang kurang dari KKM. Hal ini dilatarbelakangi karena adanya kesulitan yang dialami peserta didik kelas 4 SD Gonilan 1 dalam pembelajaran tematik mata pelajaran IPA. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang dilakukan melalui dua siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas 4 SD Gonilan 1 Kecamatan Kartasura Tahun Pelajaran 2022/2023 dengan jumlah 10 peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi, dan penilaian tes tertulis. Dibuktikan dengan prosentase belajar peserta didik di kelas sebelumnya sebesar 60%. Penyebabnya adalah mereka merasa bosan dengan proses belajar yang monoton dan tidak menggunakan model pembelajaran yang bervariasi. Solusi dari permasalahan ini adalah peneliti menawarkan menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning untuk diterapkan kepada peserta didik. Presentase prestasi belajar siswa pada siklus 1 yaitu sebesar 70% kemudian meningkat pada siklus II yaitu sebesar 80%. Hal ini berarti terjadi peningkatan sebesar 10%. Dengan demikian penggunaan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learnig dalam mata pelajaran IPA dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa kelas IV SD 1 Gonilan Kartasura.
