Peningkatan Motivasi Belajar IPS melalui Metode Mind Mapping Siswa Kelas IV SDN 1 Purwogondo

Abstract
Pada masa pandemi saat ini pendidikan di Indonesia dituntut guru supaya lebih kreatif, inovatif, dan mengenal teknologi. Sebagai fasilitator guru harus mampu berkreasi dan memiliki strategi belajar yang mampu meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. Motivasi belajar sangatlah berpengaruh besar menentukan tujuan siswa dalam belajar. Pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) merupakan mata pelajaran yang memiliki banyak materi sehingga banyak dari siswa yang kurang memahami materi yang disampaikan. Tujuan dilakukannya Penelitian Tindakan Kelas ini adalah peningkatan pemahaman materi IPS, khususnya materi Kegiatan Ekonomi di Indonesia kelas IV SDN 1 Purwogondo di Semester II Tahun Pelajaran 2020/2021 dengan menggunakan Metode Mind Mapping. Prosedur penelitian tindakan kelas yang digunakan berdasar metodologi action research, yaitu (1) perencanaan, (2) implementasi tindakan, (3) pengamatan dan evaluasi, (4) refleksi, yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus. Hasil dari penggunaan metode mind mapping pada siklus I, menyebutkan bahwa motivasi belajar siswa meningkat dari 74,10% di siklus I menjadi 84,00% di siklus II. Dari penelitian kelas ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa melalui metode mind mapping, mampu meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa kelas IV SDN 1 Purwogondo di Semester II Tahun Pelajaran 2020/2021, mata pelajaran ilmu pengetahuan sosial (IPS).
