MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN MEMBACA CEPAT DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN MEDIA TEKS TERJEMAHAN DALAM FILM BAHASA INGGRIS

Abstract
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas. Peneltian ini berupaya untuk menunjukan hasil peningkatan kemampuan dalam membaca cepat siswa dengan menggunakan media teks terjemahan dalam film bahasa Inggris. Terlihat dari hasil kecepatan membaca siswa pada tahap pra siklus, rata-rata membaca cepat siswa adalah 70,45 kata permenit. Pada siklus I mengalami peningkatan, rata-rata membaca cepat siswa yaitu 87,74 kata permenit. Sedangkan pada siklus II peningkatan rata-rata membaca cepat siswa meningkat menjadi 107,50 kata permenit. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah penerapan media teks terjemahan dalam film bahasa Inggris dapat meningkatkan kemampuan membaca cepat siswa kelas IV SD Muhammadiyah 16 Karangasem tahun pelajaran 2021/2022.
