Peningkatan Keaktifan Belajar Melalui Model Problem Based Learning Pada Pembelajara IPS Bagi Siswa Sekolah Dasar

Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa kelas IV menggunakan model Problem Based learning pada pembelajaran IPS. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan sebanyak dua siklus. Setiap siklus dilaksanakan dalam satu kali pertemuan dengan empat tahap kegiatan yaitu, perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi.Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 4 Sawahan dengan jumlah 27 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, dokumentasi, dan tes. Hasil penelitian pra siklus menunjukkan bahwa hasil rata-rata persentase ketuntasan keaktifan belajar siswa khususnya pada mata pelajaran IPS sebesar 50,26% dengan predikat rendah, sedangkan pada siklus I memperoleh persentase ketuntasan sebesar 68,78% dengan predikat sedang, kemudian meningkat sebesar 80,68% pada siklus II dengan predikat tinggi. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model Problem Based learning dapat meningkatkan keaktifan belajar pada pembelajaran IPS bagi siswa sekolah dasar.
