Peningkatan Berpikir Kritis Siswa Melalu Model Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dalam Pembelajaran IPS Kelas VII B di SMP Bakti Nusantara 666 Bandung

Abstract
Penelitian ini membahas tentang peningkatan berpikir kritisi siswa melalui model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) dalam pembelajaran IPS. Merujuk pada keterampilan abad 21 yang dimana siswa perlu memiliki keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa, untuk meningkatkan hal tersebut melalui model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) sebagai proses peningkatan berpikir kritis siswa. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui studi kepustakaan dari berbagai macam dokumen teori. Peneliti menginterprtasikan data dan fakta untuk memperoleh penjelasan tentang peningkatan berpikir kritisis siswa melalui model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL). Hasil studi menyimpulkan bahsa pembelajaran IPS merupakan proses pembelajaran yang dimana kumpulan dari berbagai bidang studi sosial seperti Sejarah, Ekonomi, Sosiologi dan Geografi yang selalu berkaitan dengan permasalahan lingkungan sosial. Pada pembelajaran IPS ini dibutuhkan berpikir kritis siswa yang bisa mengaitkan materi dan masalah sosial yang ada diilingkungan sekitar siswa. Model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning merupakan salah satu cara untuk peningkatan berpikir kritis siswa dimana siswa akan peka terhadap masalah-masalah sosial dan bisa memecahkan permasalahan sosial tersebut yang dikaitkan dengan teori yang dipelajari
