Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Materi Telling Time Pada Pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris Melalui Metode Talking Stick

Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar metode pembelajaran Talking Stick dapat Meningkatkan hasil Belajarpeserta didik Pada Materi Telling Time Pada Mata Pelajaran Bahasa Inggris di kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Lembah Sabil Semester Ganjil Tahun Pelajaran 2021/2022. Penelitian ini berlangsung dalam 2 siklus yang masing-masing siklus terdiri atas tahap perencanaan, tindakan,observasi, dan refleksi. Hasil antara siklus I dengan siklus II ada perubahan secara signifikan , hal ini ditandai dengan peningkatan jumlah siswa yang mencapai ketuntasan belajar. Dengan melihat perbandingan hasil tes siklus I dan siklus II ada peningkatan yang cukup signifikan, baik dilihat dari ketuntasan belajar dari 58.82 % menjadi 100.00 % atau meningkat 41.18 % sedangkan hasil perolehan nilai rata- rata kelas dari 78.75 % menjadi 88.33 % atau meningkat 10.30 %. Berdasarkan hasil yang di peroleh dapat di simpulkan bahwa metode Talking Stick merupakan model pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan oleh guru dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan belajar mengajar. Dimana model pembelajaran ini memuat unsur permainan sehingga tidak menimbulkan kebosanan pada siswa ketika melaksanakan proses pembelajaran, tapi juga dapat membentuk siswa untuk lebih berani mengemukakan pendapat, melatih keterampilan membaca dan memahami dengan cepat materi yang diberikan.
