Peningkatan Hasil Belajar IPA dengan Menggunakan Metode Eksperimen pada Siswa Kelas IV Semester Genap SDN 01 Tawangmangu Tahun 2020/2021

Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran IPA dengan menggunakan metode eksperimen. Metode eksperimen adalah salah satu metode yang dapat digunakan oleh guru sebagai dasar dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini termasuk Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan sebanyak 2 siklus dan meliputi empat tahap yaitu: perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV B SDN 01 Tawangmangu tahun 2020/2021 yang terdiri dari 15 siswa. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah: observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan tes. Sebelum dilakukan tindakan, siswa yang mencapai nilai KKM pada mata pelajaran IPA hanya sebesar 33,33% atau 5 siswa dari jumlah siswa 15 siswa. Setelah dilakukan tindakan dengan menggunakan metode eksperimen, menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar IPA mengalami peningkatan pada siklus 1 dan siklus II. Hasil analisis pada siklus 1 rata-rata hasil belajar sebesar 60% dan pada siklus II hasil belajar siswa meningkat menjadi 86,66%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan metode eksperimen memberikan dampak positif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA kelas IV semester genap SDN 01 Tawangmangu tahun pelajaran 2020/2021.
