Profil Kecerdasan Emosional dalam Pemecahan Masalah Matematika Siswa Kelas XI Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan

Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan profil kecerdasan emosional dalam pemecahan masalah matematika oleh siswa kelas XI Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan. Penelitian dilakukan di SMK CENDEKIA Madiun. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan dua subjek penelitian siswa kelas XI Multimedia SMK CENDEKIA Madiun. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan observasi dan wawancara berbasis tugas. Teknik keabsahan data dengan triangulasi waktu, kemudian dianalisis melalui reduksi, penyajian dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa (baik laki-laki maupun perempuan) dalam pemecahan masalah matematika memiliki keuletan, optimisme, motivasi, dan antusiasme dalam memahami, menyusun, dan melaksanakan pemecahan masalah. Siswa perempuan memiliki keuletan, optimisme, motivasi, dan antusiasme dan laki-laki memiliki keuletan, optimisme, dan motivasi dalam memeriksa kembali hasil pemecahan masalah. Dengan demikian siswa laki-laki dalam memeriksa kembali tidak memiliki antusiasme.
