Implementasi Model Problem Based Learning Untuk Meningkatkan Minat Belajar dan Keterampilan Menulis Teks Fantasi Peserta Didik Kelas VII B SMP Muhammadiyah 10 Surakarta

Abstract
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan minat belajar dan keterampilan menulis Teks Fantasi pada peserta didik kelas VII B SMP Muhammadiyah 10 Surakarta dengan menerapkan model problem based learning. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, setiap siklus dilaksanakan dalam empat tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Objek penelitian ini adalah pembelajaran menulis Teks Fantasi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VII B SMP Muhammadiyah 10 Surakarta yang berjumlah 32 peserta didik. Sumber data yang digunakan, yaitu informan, peristiwa, dan dokumen. Teknik pengumpulan data yang diterapkan, yaitu observasi, wawancara dan analisis dokumen. Teknik validitas yang digunakan yaitu dengan triangulasi metode dan triangulasi sumber data. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model problem based learning dapat meningkatkan minat belajar dan keterampilan menulis Teks Fantasi pada peserta didik kelas VII B SMP Muhammadiyah 10 Surakarta. Persentase minat belajar peserta didik meningkat dari 68,75% di siklus I menjadi 93.75% di siklus II. Penerapan model problem based learning dapat meningkatkan minat belajar dan keterampilan menulis Teks Fantasi peserta didik kelas VII B SMP Muhammadiyah 10 Surakarta. Hal ini ditandai dengan besarnya persentase ketuntasan peserta didik dalam mencapai nilai KKM yang telah ditetapkan yaitu 70. Pada prasiklus, persentase ketuntasan peserta didik sebanyak 6 peserta didik (18,75%), pada siklus I meningkat sebanyak 22 peserta didik (68,75%), dan pada siklus II mencapai 30 peserta didik atau (93.75%) peserta didik telah berhasil mencapai nilai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal yang telah ditentukan sebelumnya yaitu 70.
